Dr. Horst graduated from Cedar Crest High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania before continuing his studies at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, he became an associate veterinarian at a very busy multi-doctor practice, where he stayed for 4 years, gaining a large amount of practical experience.
In 2006, he designed and built Animal Health Care of Myerstown, a few miles from where he grew up. It was always his goal to build an animal hospital that combines state-of-the-art care, with a practical approach to medicine.
As a member of the Veterinary Information Network, Dr. Horst participates in an online community of veterinarians and board-certified specialists who share cases and information. This allows him to provide your pet with the collective experience of over 42,000 veterinarians who collaborate to provide your pet with the best possible care.
His main areas of interests include small animal medicine and surgery, with a focus on endocrine disease. Dr. Horst has enjoyed watching his practice grow along with his family which boasts 6 children, his beautiful wife, Jodi, and their family dogs, Parker (Cavachon) and Bently (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel), Stella the cat, a bearded dragon and several fish.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, wood working, and is a member of the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd in Lebanon.

Mindy has worked in the field of veterinary medicine since 2007 when she started at Animal Health Care of Myerstown. She has pursued a career by going to school for a Veterinary Technician. When she's not at work her 2 year old daughter keeps her very busy. She enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family and Boxer Nina.
Jocelyn is a 2001 graduate of Manor College with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology and is board certified. In 2005 she received certification in canine physical rehabilitation after completing studies through the University of Tennessee. She is also the office manager of Animal Health Care. Jocelyn and her husband, Joshua, have been happily married since 2009 and enjoy spending every free moment with their 2 beautiful children. As a family, they enjoy many outdoor activities and are active in their church.
Janelle has been working in the veterinary field since 2005 and at AHCM since 2006. She graduated in 2009 from Cedar Valley College with an Associate's Degree in Applied Veterinary Technology. Janelle and her husband Dan have a son, Peter and daughters, Abigail, Emma and Bree. They live on a farm with dairy cows. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, gardening and baking.
Dr. Ebling is a graduate of ELCO High School, has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University, a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Delaware, and her Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
In 2007, she began her career working as an associate veterinarian in a large animal facility working on cows, sheep, goats, camelids, and deer. Her interests shifted to small animals and in 2012 she joined Animal Health Care of Myerstown.
Dr. Ebling spends her off time with her husband and 2 children, their Sphinx cat, Mr. Biggles, and their Golden Retriever named Luke. She also has a flock of Montadale sheep which she shows at local competitions. She is a faithful Penn State football fan and enjoys spending time at their family’s cabin in Tioga County and visiting the beach.
Samantha is a 2007 graduate of Wilson College with a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology and is board-certified. She has been in the veterinary field since 2007 and started working at AHCM in the summer of 2012. Samantha and her husband, Chad, have a son and a dog. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to hockey games, and the outdoors.
Alicia joined Animal Health Care of Myerstown as a Receptionist/ Veterinary Assistant in May of 2015. She Graduated from Tulpehocken High School in 2008 and started working in the Veterinary field in 2009 as a Kennel Technician/ Tech Assistant. She grew up with a variety of animals from dogs and cats to rabbits and lizards. Alicia has a 5 year old boxer, Gunner, a boxer puppy, Lettie, and two cats, Murphy and Chloe. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Carlyn, working on home renovations, and going to sporting events.
Dr. Milliken completed her Bachelor’s degree at Penn State University and graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 2015 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. She is currently pursuing the courses required to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. She enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and Bernese Mountain Dog, Peggy.
Dr. Bridget Hanley graduated from Albright College with a Bacholors degree in Biology and then the University of Pennsylvania with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She worked at a small animal practice for 15 years before accepting a position as a veterinarian in drug safety. Her love of clinicl medicine brings her to Animal Health Care of Myerstown on Saturdays. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy kayaking, biking, and running. She can also be found shasing her 8 year old twin girls and 16 year old stepson or dressing up her English Bulldog in costumes for visits to geriatric centers.
Farrah joined our team in April of 2017 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She attended YTI Career Institute and graduated in May of 2017 with an associates degree in Veterinary Medicine. She passed the state certification test in late 2017. Farrah has a Bernese Mountain dog named Melody and has a few feline friends at home. She used to participate in Trap, Neuter, and Release clinics for stray or feral cats. Farrah loves summertime and in her free time, she enjoys relaxing at home and spending time with her friends/family.
Sarah is a 2009 graduate of Northampton/Lehigh Carbon Community College's Veterinary Technician Program. She joined Animal Health Care of Myerstown in the summer of 2017. Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, Calum, and her pitbull, Petey. The three of them spend as much time as possible outside in their flower and vegetable garden and taking care of their goats. They love to hang out by the pool and work on projects around the house.
Holly Started at AHCM in December of 2017 as a veterinary technician. She graduated from YTI Career Institute with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Medicine. She is in the process of studying to take her state certification exam this summer to become a CVT. When Holly is not working she loves to spend time with her boyfriend, knit, crochet or do anything crafty. She also loves to enjoy her time outdoors and spending time with her dog Dozer.
Dr Gondek graduated from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Upon graduation, he took a position as an associate veterinarian in a small animal hospital in very cold and snowy Upstate New York where he practiced for 20 years. After 20 years in New York, he moved and practiced for 2 years in the very green and mountainous State of Vermont.
In 2010 he relocated to Pennsylvania and practiced small animal medicine and surgery in Lancaster County. Dr Gondek joined the staff at Animal Health Care of Myerstown in 2019. In addition, to caring for his patients at Animal Heath Care he is a staff veterinarian at the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue in Reinholds.
Louise joined Animal Health Care of Myerstown in May of 2019. She started working in the veterinary field in 1994 and has 15 years of experience as a receptionist. She took a brief break from the field to spend more time with her 3 children and husband of 27 years. She also has a Bernese Mountain Dog , Kyle, and a Golden Retriever, Chase. We are excited to welcome her to our team!
Emily joined Animal Health Care of Myerstown as a veterinary technician in May of 2019. She began her career in the veterinary field in 2010. She is currently going to school to become a certified technician. She also volunteers at the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. Emily has a large variety of rescued pets including 4 dogs (Bear, Kanji, Paisley, and Opal), 2 cats, and 2 chinchillas. She just got married in October 2019!
Beth joined Animal Health Care of Myerstown in July of 2019 as a receptionist. She started working in the veterinary field in 2004 as a receptionist/technician assistant. She also does dog/cat grooming part time at The Lucky Dog Grooming Company in Lebanon. Beth has a large variety of pets including 3 dogs, 3 horses, and 2 donkeys. When she is not working, she enjoys showing her horses on the Quarter Horse Circuit.
Angela joined Animal Health Care of Myerstown in October of 2019 as a receptionist. On the side Angela has her own business doing interior design. At home she has 3 dogs and a cat. In her free time Angela loves to travel and enjoys cooking.
