Marijuana Toxicity

There are over 80 different cannabis/marijuana plants. The two most common ones that are recognized, utilized, and studied are:

  • Tetrahydrocannabiol (THC)

  • Cannabidiol (CBD)

Common Symptoms of Marijuana Toxicity:

  • Sedation/lethargy

  • Dilated pupils or glassed over eyes

  • Dazed expression

  • Difficulty walking

  • Vomiting

  • Low or high heartrate

  • Agitation

  • Trouble regulating tempurature

  • Incontinence/dripping urine

  • Tremors

  • Seizures

  • Vocalization

Signs can be seen anywhere from 5 minutes to 12 hours after exposure. Signs can also last anywhere from 30 minutes to several days depending on dose ingested.
